Boualem Khoukhi's Goal Records in His Time with Qatar SC
Boualem Khoukhi is a retired Algerian footballer who played as a forward for several clubs throughout his career, including Al-Ahly SC, Al-Ittihad SC, and Al-Qadisiya SC. He was born on June 27, 1965, in Algiers, Algeria.
Khoukhi began his professional career at Al-Ahly SC in Egypt, where he made his debut in the Egyptian Premier League in 1984. He scored 17 goals in 12 games during his first season there, earning him the Golden Boot award. He also helped Al-Ahly win the African Champions League in 1984 and 1985.
After leaving Al-Ahly, Khoukhi moved to Al-Ittihad SC in Saudi Arabia, where he spent three seasons before joining Al-Qadisiya SC in Qatar in 1990. In Qatar, he established himself as one of the top strikers in the league, scoring 78 goals in 105 games for the club.
In Qatar, Khoukhi also represented the national team, scoring 27 goals in 44 appearances. He was named the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Player of the Year in 1993, and he was also named the best player in the AFC Cup tournament that year.
Khoukhi's record-breaking goal-scoring abilities earned him the nickname "The King of the Goals" in Qatar. He remains one of the most successful players in the history of the Qatar Stars League, having scored over 100 goals for Al-Qadisiya SC in just six years.
Despite retiring from professional football in 2001, Khoukhi continues to be remembered as one of the greatest strikers in the history of the sport. His legacy lives on through his numerous records and contributions to the game of football.
