Firmino's Tackle Count at Al Ahli
In a thrilling season opener for the 2021/22 season, Firmino scored three goals in his debut for Al Ahli SC in a 5-1 victory over Al Rayyan SC.
The goal-scoring performance was a testament to Firmino’s ability to convert his chances into goals and showed how he can be a key player for Al Ahli SC.
Firmino started the game well with a stunning strike from the penalty spot before scoring again on the 48th minute after being played by fellow forward Abdulrahman Al-Husseini.
The goals came just as Firmino had set up the match-winning goal, with Al-Hussein playing a one-two move that allowed Firmino to get behind the defense and shoot past the keeper.
Al-Hussein’s goal also marked the first time Firmino has scored a hat-trick in a single match.
Despite Firmino’s impressive performance, Al Ahli SC struggled to find their rhythm early in the match and were unable to break down the defense.
However, Firmino’s experience and versatility made him a valuable asset for the team, and he continued to play well throughout the rest of the match.
In the second half, Firmino’s role increased as Al Ahli SC looked for a late comeback, but they were unable to score any more goals and ended the match with a 5-1 defeat.
Despite this setback, Firmino is confident that he will continue to perform at a high level in the coming matches and is excited about what the future holds for him at Al Ahli SC.
